Transport, traffic and Logistics Department

Transport, Traffic and Logistics Department is one of the four departments of Transport Faculty, one of the most prestigious faculties in University Politehnica of Bucharest.

With longstanding established superior technical education  (starting under the name  „Circulation and Operation” as part of Superior Institute of Railways, with credentials from 1949) and permanently minded on adapting the study programs to socio-economical evolution, ’Transport, Traffic and Logistics Department’ provides high quality education for experts and engineers with competences in design and technological (operational/tactical) leadership for mono, multi or intermodal transportation, as well as competences in specialised infrastructures (railway, underground, road, water and air ways) traffic command and control.

Transport, Traffic and Logistics Department is the initiator and organizer of Romanian education and research in Transport Engineering and makes available academic programmes as:

Please note that most of the courses and all undergraduate and master programmes are taught in Romanian. However, Department Transport, traffic and logistic offer courses in English for exchange students in Erasmus Programmes, for one or two semesters.

Doctoral School ”Transport” offers doctoral programme in Transport Engineering for international students.
